The water is fine!´ VERSE When Katy's gone, it's forever You'll pray for dirty weather You pray by now, but everything has changed And when it's now or never, you'd turn this whole thing over You pray by now, but everything has changed You can't change your spots, can you? You don't feel free to feel, do you? VERSE Keep a weather eye on the horizon It looks alive You've been drinking alone Why went it wrong? You've tried to stop a rolling stone You've been dreaming alone Too much, too young, too soon, too old, too plain, too weak for the Rock'n'Roll show You can't clear your mind She said `Come on in!

--------

The Melmacs give you top notch PowerPop-Punk, combining jab jab guitars with a jub jub keyboard, pow pow drums and a boom boom bass that will butter your parsnips! A terrific potpouri, very nice, very evil, stabbing you in the back, blowing out your earwax, rising the sun with it‘s bare hands. Helmets and slippers required – Welcome to Planet Melmac!

The Melmacs (GER) put their first long-playing record in the balance: weighing in at 10 songs, very nice, very evil, stabbing you in the back, blowing out your earwax, rising the sun with it‘s bare hands, nudging you on the dancefloor: no armpit left dry, no voice unhoarse, no haircut prim and proper: 100% hits, 100% fidgetity, `til your bottoms burn!

To fit Good Advice into a single pigeonhole a helluva lot pigeons must be left outta the hole. Therefore we won‘t even start this cleaning-up-thingy and let this 4-piece straight up haul off for their familiar slobberknocker breaking down the walls of `77 punk, rock‘n‘roll, 70s rock, power pop, and punk rock à la maison.

It is certain: with blister plaster and a ghetto blaster, resilient neighbours, a little liqueur and a rest of pizza, some tinsel and a lighter, you are more than well poised to let this record beam you up to Planet Melmac – good mood and positive energy included. Let‘s äh go!
