The Love Rockets aus Berlin brennen mit kurzer Zündschnur puren, ungeschliffenen Rock‘n‘Roll ab. Hier gibt es keinen melancholischen Pop, kein verkopftes Gefrickel und auch nicht die immer gleichen 3-Akkorde-Punkrockkamellen. Stattdessen steile Melodien, breitbeinige Gitarrenriffs und einen Arsch voll Attitüde.
Mit (This Ain't No) Rocket Science liefern die 4 Hauptstädter:innen jetzt ihre Debüt-EP ab und ballern auf den 5 Tracks in alle Richtungen.
Produziert wurde das knackige Werk von Jens Gallmeyer (u.a. Gigantor, Terry Hoax) im Institut für Wohlklangforschung, Hannover, mit Arne Borchard (Mix) und Willi Dammeier (Mastering) an den Reglern.
The Love Rockets from Berlin burn off pure, unpolished rock'n'roll with a short fuse. There's no melancholic pop here, no cerebral fiddling and also not the same 3-chord punk rock stuff. Instead, there are steep melodies, leggy guitar riffs and an assload of attitude.
With (This Ain't No) Rocket Science, the 4 piece now deliver their debut EP and bang in all directions on the 5 tracks.
(This Ain't No) Rocket Science was produced by Jens Gallmeyer (including Gigantor, Terry Hoax) at the Institut für Wohlklangforschung, Hanover, with Arne Borchard (mix) and Willi Dammeier (mastering) on the controls.
